We are an independent production company based in Curitiba, Brazil, working with digital content and completely original productions.
We at iokai Studio want to bring you a magical world using traditional audiovisual techniques, combining practical effects, stop motion, and visual tricks from 80s movies that make our eyes light up.
Our work is crafted entirely by hand, with the kind of care grandma puts into Sunday lunch.
We want to produce quality content, even with our limited resources, and show more of Brazil to the world!

Today, our main production is iokai Detective, a series set in a fantastical Brazil.
Its narrative explores legends from
Brazilian Folklore (mainly those lesser-known stories that are gradually being lost).
Our studio operates through crowdfunding, in addition to the resources generated through social media.
But our plans are ambitious!
We're starting small in vertical format and moving forward to produce a full web series and even a movie in the future! All made with your support!
